Every home we take on is different, because every family is different. What stays the same is our promise: close attention, honest materials, and adding only what has earned it's place.
Meet the founder
Avneet Kaur
Founder & Principal Designer
Originally from Delhi, she grew up in a family involved in manufacturing and interior supplies — which meant her early education in design didn't come from books, but from warehouses, workshops, and job sites. She learned to read materials before she learned to render them: what a joint looks like when it's done properly, how a surface ages, why some finishes feel honest and others don't.
That upbringing shaped how she designs today. She believes homes should be timeless rather than trend-driven — built to feel right in ten years, not just on the day the photographs are taken. It's also why she leads every NICHE project personally, from the first conversation through to the last detail on site. Nothing is handed off. If it's a NICHE project, she's on it.
A home doesn't need to impress anyone. It needs to hold up a family's life, quietly, for a very long time.

Listen First
Before a single line is drawn, we spend time understanding how you actually live — not how a brochure says you should. The best ideas in a project usually come from that conversation, not from a mood board.
Design for Everyday Living
A home is used far more on an ordinary Tuesday than on the day it's photographed. We design for the daily version of your life, not the occasional one.
Build to Last
We choose materials and details that age well, not ones that peak on installation day. Restraint now is what makes a home feel right a decade from now.
